  • Here's one you don't see everyday!

Hello everyone. I'm looking for some advice and suggestions for a first time strech. Unfortunately there really isn't much info of this sort of thing, for this particular vehicle. The car is a '79 Fiat X1/9. It currently has 175/70s mounted on 5.5x13in Assen wheels (et 12-15) w/ 15mm of factory spacers. According to Tirestrech.com, they are 575.2mm tall. I currently have my coils wound to the lowest setting, which tucks the rear tires, into the wheel wells about an 15-16mm. The front tires have plenty of space. The front fenders have been rolled, but not the rears. The wheels that I'm attempting to fit Traklite F-fourty's . Specs are 15×8.25 +20. I've test fit the wheels and with 18-20mm of spacers, they clear the suspension and the lips of the wheels are nearly flush with the fender lips. There is some "poke", but not too much, and I'm okay with that. Being a newb, I'm uncertain as to what size tires to get, to pull off the look I'm after. I was considering a combination of any of the following sizes, but I'm open to other options and sizes.

    Current hight of tires 575.2mm

    175/50/15 (556mm)
    185/50/15 (566mm)
    185/45/15 (547mm)
    195/45/15 (556.5mm)

I'm leaning towards maybe 175/50's or 185/45s front and rear. Or perhaps 175/50 (front) & 195/45 (rear)??? Please feel free to chime in. In and share your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I think some 195/45/15 with a little camber and poke would look dope, that's my setup on my BMW more or less
