08 Vw R32, attempted Constraint.

I sold the Audi before the move, to pay for a few things and get a new car, for a new chapter of my life.



So, After my recent move to Austin TX, I picked of this R32, from Houston. Thankfully it was far enough away from the flooding, it wasn't damaged. Has some coilovers on it, he couldn't remember, and i haven't had the chance to jack it up yet. Everything else is stock, from what he told me and I can tell.







Plans are -

Wheels
Exhaust
Forge Intake
Color polishing
New front grill. (cant decide or black, brushed like stock, or chrome to match the mirrors)
Mainting the hell out of it.

Nothing big, headed to friends house this weekend. He had a wiper delete laying around, and i took the ugly front plate off, to reveal and even uglier front end. So that will be the first body panel to get refreshed. More soon!

I would get a hole-less grille, and then get matching brushed mirror caps.

Freshen up the car, and then get some wheels and exhaust. Hell, if you want to save money, a resonator delete, coupled with some nicer looking exhaust tips would do the trick also.

thats the plan, but gonna do a black grill, and wrap the mirrors to match. Exhaust is already on the way

edit: never mind I see it now, it looks clean! My vote is to stick with the brushed grille. I love that feature of the mkV r32

Grabbed some wheels locally. Went with 17’s, for more meat and grip..and some needed cushioning over potholes





Tires are shot, but now I can see exactly what size I’ll be getting. 225/45s

Got some tires. It was weird going to a shop and them NOT tell me "these tires dont fit these wheels".



Now since I moved, I got rid of pretty much all of my tools. So i have to acquire a jack, and some spanners to wind this bottomed out coils up before the wheels will fit. soon!


also the wife likes the car. Finally.

Raised the coils, and got my wheels on. The ride quality is night and day.
