  • Unique E30 build?

    Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen!

So what I have here is a 1987 BMW 325is that's going to be LS swapped.
I've only seen a few people do this kind of build, and it's been something I've been thinking about for a while

    BACK STORY:

I bought this car when I was 16, from my dad's friend. Many things wrong, and the car wasn't really taken care of.
Since I've had it, I made a lot of improvements, such as fix the ebrake, replaced bumper trims, installed missing
    body pieces, etc etc...
It has the stock M20 with ebay headers, and Ireland engineering axleback exhaust. The odo broke at 214k when I bought the car.
    I'm guessing it's around 300k now?

Years ago after driving with my dad, he kinda pressured me into LS swapping the car, and well....it looks like I gave in lol

    ON TO THE PICTURES!

Picture when I first bought the car. Now onto a little more recent pics

These pictures range from 1.5-2 years ago, before I joined the navy and actually saw the car everyday.
Here are the most recent pictures that I have, taken on Christmas, 2016.

Things that have been done to the car so far:
    Ebay headers
    Ireland engineering axleback
    DIY cold (hot) air intake
    Shadowline diving board bumpers
    DTM Fiberwerkz rear valance
    Foglight delete
    Zender skirts
XXR 530 16x8 (don't even know the offset anymore)
    Drilled rotors
    Painted calipers
    Vogtland springs
    KYB struts
Suede steering wheel (forgot brand, not ebay!)
    Short shift kit
    Cipher seats (not for long!)
    Takata harnesses for the driver

There are probably more things that I'm forgetting.

It is a fun car, in my opinion I think it looks good. But it's getting a whole new makeover, looks and power wise.

NOW HERE ARE THE GOODIES THAT YOU'VE CLICKED ON THIS THREAD FOR:

Pulled from an 03 Silverado. Unknown miles, it's surprisingly clean inside the engine. Comes with wiring harness as well

Pulled from an 04 CTS-V. 85k miles, paid $1300 for it

The replacement for those cipher seats lol

SIKKY SWAP KIT, PAID JUST UNDER $2000:

Custom oil pan, steel driveshaft, poly mounts for engine and trans. Direct bolt in!
With a big ass v8 going in a tiny E30, I need to delete the brake booster and relocate the master cyl assembly.
This is where this bad boy comes in:

I'm sure I'm missing a lot of things. Ask me questions!

          Small update:
My custom brackets and side mounts from Wedge Brackets came in today. They do look really good. Can't wait to see how it looks in the car.

            Some updates:
I haven't been able to do anything with the swap due to deployments and things. I did however get new parts recently. I ended up selling the CTSV t56 and got a f body t56. Came with a MGW shifter. I bought new wheels that I'll eventually put on the car. Also I have more recent pictures of the car post deployment. Here are some of my favorites
