  • Complete Coilovers from E36 to fit E46 ?

I have a complete set of Coilovers for E36...

I have a E46 however, would it be very hard to retrofit the E36 struts into the E46 ?

A friend has told me that E36, E46 and E30 will fit between models ?

      on the rear yes.

on the front, you will have to change your complete hub/spindles/breaks from an e36, maybe also the lower control arm (to get the correct caster), most likely you can use the e46 top mount.

but to answer the question about practicality, you would be way better of just buying a set of e46 coil overs.

Would the coils from the rear of a E36 ti (compact) fit the rear of a E46 sedan ?

I have to get through inspection, and the rear suspension is sagging (broken coils)

I will most definately use my Coilovers on my E36 ti then and buy a new set for the E46 :P
