  • Widebody Mazdaspeed 3

Here is another build we just finished up at work (JMI Motoring). Here is a little bit of what was done to the kit. From what we know it is the second kit ever fitted to a Mazda 3 and the first to a MazdaSpeed 3.

The Front fenders and rear quarters were cut and modified to accept the larger wheels and to eliminate any rubbing. The flares were re-glassed to perfectly match the body of the car and foam was added between the flare and body after paint. Side skirts were cut and re-glassed along the rocker under the door so that it fit perfectly. The front lip was modified and reglassed to fit perfectly with the stock bumper and look as oem as possible.

All the mounting points were riv-nutted and tamper-proof bolts were used so no one could just unbolt the flares and steal them if they wanted to. Enjoy

rear quarters trimmed and pie cut to get maximum clearance for wheels

        The body looks awesome.

However, it needs more low + more poke to fill out those arches.

As much as I agree with you guys, if the car was any lower or it had any wider wheels and they came in contact with the flares buh buy flares Its a girls daily driver so it works out well

Very nice, but like others said, those wheels need to come out a bit more.

Wow that's way sicker than I though it'd be. I really like it a lot. It would be insane with more poke, more low, and stretchy tires though!

The kit's kinda cheesy in my opinion, but like others have said, Speed3s are dooooope. We had one at my work for a while and I took it for a spin once. Good times.
