  • Miata roof rack? No wannabe.

This thread is probably in the wrong place, but feel free to move it

    I've got a NA Miata.
It's my daily, my track car and my winter car.

The only problem I've got with it is the lack of room for my twin tip skis.
I could remove my passenger seat and squeeze em' in there, but then I'm alone. No buddys allowed.

Therefore, I'm on the look out for a way to transport the skis on the roof or something.

    I've got a hardtop, that's all.

All tips and comments will be saluted with a double high five.

You could get a trunk rack *see below pic* and mount the skis onto that

Just put them in the trunk and let them stick out- that's what I do.

Or buy a trailer hitch and get a ski/bike attachment.

I have one of those trunk luggage carriers, but the problem is that the skis are to long to sit sideways.

I could have them in the trunk, but it's a almost 3 hour drive, and when I reach my destination, the trunk will be full of snow

Google really hates this type of questions.
It's sends me to Clubroadsters, and they all got the same questions as me

If you've got a hardtop then i'm pretty sure that you can figure something out with universal roofracks. Thule and lot's of factories make them.

Cheap ain't badass, badass ain't cheap.

Have you considered putting the skis the other way on your rack?
