For sale is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle. The car is in outstanding condition for the age. Motor has been completely rebuilt, and will do 80mph on the highway comfortably. The engine has around 2,200 miles on it and was rebuilt with the following specs.
1807cc engine
87mm bore x 76mm stroke, 7.8:1 compression ratio
AS41 VW engine case, duel relief
AA 87mm cast piston/cylinder set
CP Performance 4140 Forged Chromoly, 76mm striker crank, counterweighted
Stock reconditioned VW connecting rods
New dual port heads, 40mm x 35.5mm SS Valves
Scat Hi rev single valve springs with shims
Scar C-25 camshaft, .365" lift, 234 deg duration @ .050", 108 centers
Scat 1.1:1 rocker arm set with solid shafts, swivel adjusters
5/16 chromoly pushrods,custom length
NGK BPR5ES spark plugs, 12mm, 3/4" reach
Dual AA 40mm IDF carbs with CB hex bar linkage
Stock transmission with .082 overdrive 4th gear, 4.12:1 ring and pinion
Transmission built by Mike Gagnier
