Suh, names Matt. not much note worthy to say about me. Im in the Marine Corps. im a bit of an ass and a troll so we will have good times. Im a huge huge car fanatic. I came mostly from more functional builds and such but being in socal has kind of corrupted me with all these stanced out cars and i love the shit out of it. I dont know what much else to say so ill post some pics of my notable car history.

It all started out with a 2003 Chevrolet Blazer Xtreme. have no pictures of that but it was given to me by my father and it was a fun first car.

Next came my first manual car. 1992 Honda Accord LX. ill start out by saying "rust". Nuff' said. But i was 18 and it was the best car on planet earth and no one could tell me otherwise:

Pretty good id say for a 18-19 year old kid changing oil part time at a Honda dealer.

That car was sold for a 1997 Chevy truck and i had that for a bit. After many uninteresting cars later i purchased this at the Honda dealer i was now working as a full time Technician. a very clean 1999 Honda Civic Si:

Function and Form type 1 coilovers, Enkei RPF1s , Greddy SUS header, HKS HiPower catback exhaust, Ktuned shifter.
I enjoyed that car for a good long time before i got a much better job and was able to afford a much newer and faster car. Si was unfortunately sold, vandalized, stolen and totaled in less than 2 months after getting rid of it. I still feel awful) Here is that car, 2012 Mazdaspeed3:

Big brake kit, Rays wheels, Megan coilovers. Downpipe, catback, full cubb software and a custom E85 tune. Was pushing 330whp and it was a fun car. But then i made the best worst decision of my life. Joined the Marine corps. cant blame it on being young and b=dumb because i was just turned 22. But after i got thru all my training and got to my duty station i realized i couldnt afford 450 a month for car payments and i had just hit the mark where i wasnt upside down, so i sadly had to turn it in on this. 2006 Mini Cooper S. Im not going to post stock pics, it was all modified to its current state in less than 2 weeks. Konig Roller 16 inch wheels, cheap coilovers which arent that bad, a catback exhaust, supercharger pulley, piggyback ECU tune and a stereo:

Its a fun little car and it can go much lower in the rear which im planning on doing soon. Front is maxed but if i take the helper spring out i will bring it much lower as well. also doing soon.

Near future plans for the Mini:
    Fifteen52 Formula TR 16x8 ET30 wheels
    Go lower on the coilovers
    Grip royal steering wheel
    Status racing seats and harnesses
partial cage and rear seat delete
maybe MAYBEEEEE go on D2 bags

Moving on to another car i currently own and was going to leave stock and daily but the idea of bags just got to me too much and ive already started the process. Its a 1998 BMW 528I in amazing condition. Alpine White with black interior that ive found factory Technical Graphite interior trim and installed. Car is fully loaded, heated seats, heated steering wheel, full power everything, ive put a bluetooth touch screen in it....did i mention it was a manual? pics:

    Future plans for this car:
D2 air bag kit with electronic management
Fifteen52 R43 Deep Concave wheels 19x9.5 ET20 in carbon grey with 10mm spacers
    Front lip
maybe an xhaust or muffler of some sort for a little more noise
No. i dont plan on doing an M5 bumper, or halo headlights, or red/clear tail lights. This is a pre-facelift car and im not going to upgrade to post-facelift parts and pretend the car is something its not. I just want the car to look dope and the body and interior are spotless so i can move right into the modding

Well? Tell me what you think. Any tips, ideas, shoutouts, hatred? send it my way. Love getting to know more people and, of course, getting into fiery online arguments.

    Out.

    Welcome,

A proper introduction I must say.
Also a nice list of cars. I do like that e39. I would keep the BBS instead of going for the R43, but that's my opinion. Great find nevertheless!

      Thanks!

They are factory BBS 2 piece wheels. called style 5s. they are too small i think. Plan was to buy an older BMW like an 80s 6 series and put these wheels on them after they get restored. BBS gold centers, polished outer rings.

New addition to the family. 1999 BMW 323is. 5 speed manual.

Lets go over the bad stuff first.
Intake tube has holes in it and is taped up with gorilla tape
Driver door panel is torn up
        armrest is torn up
        airbag light is on
        no heat
paint is faded on rear bumper and hood
        right fog light is broken
driver door power lock does not work
        sunroof does not work
thermostat is stuck in the open position
small clunks going over bumps with one wheel or the other. assuming sway bar bushings or endlinks.
        240,000 miles!

        pics

        Now, the good stuff.
Cold ass AC! The car runs smooth as glass, i actually think the car is off while its running, shifts great as well and goes down the highway very very nicely. Most the interior faults are no big deal to me as a daily driver and all maintenance issues are remedied pretty cheaply. New thermostat is cheap, will do a new water pump and coolant flush while im in there and do a new heater control valve and flush the heater core, hopefully solving the no heat problem

The car overall isnt bad. and the entire reason i purchased it is as a daily beater/winter beater when i move back home to the snow. The stock wheels will mount up snow tires nicely and the car has heated seats and traction control!

While im buying all the maintenance items, i will also be purchasing a hood bra to cover up that fading paint and destroyed roundel as well as purchasing a set of factory M3 M contour wheels off craigslist and bolting them on there. as well as some cheap muffler from a muffler shop and probably a cheap cone filter.

The car isnt the cleanest but it runs and drives pretty well and will serve as a nice daily driver to keep my other cars in good shape and to be able to take my time with working on my other cars....and its nice to have a car you can have stuff in the backseat or maybe a couple bottles on the floorboard and not have it bother you haha.
