  • Modified A4 avant

Soo, I sold my allroad, short lived as they tend to be. Realizing the amount of work to maintain and bring it to where I wanted it to be was out of reach for me currently. So with the money I picked up a smaller, more manageable version.

2001 Audi A4 avant. 5 speed transmission , 1.8t and maintained very well, thankfully seeing it has 190k miles.

    Anyway, onto pictures.

    Plans -
    Coils
Ac schnitzers type 2 ( hopefully)
    Full audio build.
Mild motor, new turbo, exhaust, ecu
    A few body mods.

    Updates soon!

Looks like a solid base for a start. I was looking for a b5 wagon but couldnt find any locally. Cant wait to see what you do to it.

Same, they are impossible to find in manual not beat to complete crap. I have been looking for a stock B5 Avant with under 200K and decent maintenance records its damn near impossible. I don't feel like settling for its step brother the Passat Wagon b5.5 1.8T 4 motion that seems to be even hard to find as that model was tailored towards soccer moms.

I ended up just going with a b6 a4 1.8t which I am very happy with. I had a few wagons I was considering but finding a decent one of those is just as hard as well.

It happens when U have 2.5'' or 3'' straight exhaust with custom downpipe.

Do you have AEB or AJL engine? What coilovers U will use?

              Mine is here:

Haha i will, after driving it for two days, I suspect ill be keeping this around for a while. everything works on it, runs amazing and already more fun to drive than the allroad.

honestly no clue on the motor, anyway for me to tell? For coils I'm thinking ksport or something comparable, no racelands for me.

                Yours looks great!

AJL and AEB difference is in kW's. AJL have 132 kW but AEB 110 kW. Small differences in ECU & turbo pressure. That's all.

No real update, getting married in a month so my funds are a bit tight. Just been fixing small things here and there.

Got an eBay rs4 grill cause the old stock one was tired and faded.

Spent about 6 hours detailing, got a lot of the surface scratches out. Some paintless dent removal is in my very near future.

Almost all of my climate buttons had reached critical sticky phase, so I did minor surgery to clean out the 17 years of dust and oil.

To stay on the cosmis wheel trend with my Audi wagons. A good friend is the head of cosmis usa, recently nudged the idea of carrying 5x112 wheels. So I will have the first set in 8-10 weeks.

                      More soon hopefully!

So y'all know I like to paint stuff.

The rear bumper was pretty scuffed up from normal wear and tear I'm guessing. So I fixed that.
