  • Going stiffer springs & stretch...

So iI've had lowered cars for years and used to a firmer ride etc and my E46 M3 is no exception...

Ive always wanted to go that bit further and do more of a stance build taking it lower so tyre tucks but lips poke. Ive currently got HSD coilovers with 7kg 175mm front springs & 8kg 165mm rear barrel springs. Ive just ordered some 16k 125mm fronts and 18kg 120mm linear rears. My reservations with the spring rates are in that i know from running 245/35 on a 10.5" rear on my 530 daily it now loses traction so easy in the slightest of wet conditions where it didnt before and i put this down to the tyre being so much stiffer withthe stretch. With the car being so much stiffer too with such hard springs rates combined with mild stretch as planned on the M3 and unable to hunker down for grip, how can i honestly expect it to drive?

Looking for opinions from people who run such set ups rather than peoples thoughts on how it might please.

That's hows its going to be, because of the lack of suspension travel now.
