  • 19 GfG Build with pics

Ahh, winter project almost wrapped up!

These are GfG 19 8.5f 9.5r 5x112 wheels off a MB that will be repurposed to a Saab 9-3. Saabs run 5x110 and I will use ECS wobble bolts.

A Craigers find that has been a fun winter rebuild. Originally the centers were powder coasted flat black... Well we all know that look is straight dead, so we refreshed with something a bit more fun - pink. One barrel needed replaced and the wheel hardware all needed an overhaul. I went with new chrome bolts and nuts. Glued together with the normal DOW stuff. Still working on valve stem choice.

Tires not pictured but will be 225/35/19 Goodyear Eagle F1 Assemetrico summer rubber bands... The front should sit well, the back should be stretched pretty good, hopefully not too much.

See what you all think! Once mounted when nice weather breaks out, I will post some on car after shots. The Saab guys **** them, but as you all know zero effs given to ****.

    The obligatory money shot:

    Child torture:

The victim: (I know, its getting there! Its winter dang it!)

Will be static DD on H&R springs.

Just let me know if you all have questions!

Daughter (pictured) will get this Saab in two years anyway, so that is the pink motif.

Once spring pops, I'll see some of you all at Cars and Coffee for the debut. With many more changes to keep it clean.

H&R springs, that is as low as she's gonna get because daily and I already drag the front lip.

If you are in NoVA DMV area call up Ali. He did not blink on working w 3 piece rims or mounting tires with stretch!

Clean and did a good job balancing the wheels!

Id say that if you arent going to go lower that you should get rid of the tire stretch. Looks kind of weird with stretched tires and wheel gap. Otherwise I really like it.

                Also lower it.

I agree that the stretched rear tire actually accentuates the wheel gap... Granted the H&Rs are great for the street ride.

It actually looks better in person gap wise, the pictures did not turn out well.

Before on stock 17s with 13/25mm f/r spacers. (Dirty, I know)

On lowering, I can't make it over a beer can as it is with the front spoiler lip! LOL
