  • rimzo rocco follow-up

might have seen my build thread but it's at the point where i don't mind showing it off a little. this is my 1988 scirocco that i've had since i was 14. it's been through lots of stages and this is the one i'm pretty happy with. just made a 1500 mile round trip to h2o and back without a single issue. really too much to list what i've done but there's lots of info in my build thread and i can answer any questions anyone has because i know mk2 sciroccos are rarely built like this.

here's some pics from h2o... i didn't take any of them. thank you to the talented people who did.

a pic of the bay i took before i left

both my cars together before the rocco had coils (only a few weeks ago actually)

great looking 'rocco you've got there.

altough i did expect that momo wheel placed in the harlequin instead of the rocco.

still a nice touch to it

i shouldn't be daily driving this:

Other than the tint in the rear window, this looks really nice!

I have a couple benetton wheels so I grabbed the older beat up one from the harlequin to use in the rocco. Ideally Ill get a black leather one.

I don't know why the rear window gives that kind of effect but it has no tint. In certain photos it looks really weird. If you wear polarized glasses it looks like that too. But to the naked eye it is clear. Look at the first pic and it doesn't show up. No idea why it's like that, totally oem glass too.

That's weird, it might be the polarized film that most euro cars come with which gives the windows that blue hue. Either way the car is gorgeous and I meant no disrespect, just a random detail that I thought may have been overlooked.

I wasn't sure how it was going to look but I'm glad I put in the extra work for the smooth look.
