  • Swede 'N Low - My dropped Holset c900 convertible

I have an Intro thread here, but I thought these pictures from my friend and photographer Dmitry Antipov (flickr here) deserved its own thread in the Showroom.

    Stats:
    1987 Saab 900 turbo convertible
    5-speed
    139k miles

    Mods you might care about:
-Adjustable suspension (modified Afco jack bolt fronts, jack cups rear)
    -Trionic programmable EMS, custom tuned
-Holset HE351CW turbo, headers, 4" downpipe
-Euro OEM Saab "Airflow" body kit
    -18x8 Rays two-piece forged wheels

As for stancyness, it can tuck tire on full-low, but I keep it raised up a bit for driving height. To adjust the fronts, you simply pop the hood and crank the 19mm jack bolt. The rears require the car to be jacked up with the rear wheel off the ground to adjust the jack cups.

    Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys. Here's an engine bay pic, you can just barely see the jack bolt in the middle of the shock tower. I just crank that bolt to raise & lower the car. And yeah, it goes. Currently breaking in the new setup on a low-boost tune of 17psi, ~300whp according to the freshly calibrated butt dyno. My tuner expects 500whp at 30psi.

I've seen this car many times in person. Have always meant to compliment you on it. Awesome car.
