  • That's a Wrap!

so a few weeks ago, i decided on a whim to wrap the e36, i used cheap ebay wrap just in case i stuffed up and potentially wasted a buttload of cash.

but alas, it actually came out pretty good i think. yes theres flaws, some panels look a different shade on certain angles(think this is from applying it in different orientations), ive got no idea how long its going to last, but im happy with the result, and its a change from the black.

and yes, the car has some dodgy panel gaps/alignment, deal with it.

onto the pics. only have a few quality shots, rest are iphone. will get more good ones in due course. have also included a few "in progress" photos

(2 screws are stuck, so had to improvise, wrapping the boot around the spoiler)

How much did you use? I am thinking about wrapping my typhoon until I get it painted.

Looks great! It must feel like going out to a new car for the first few days

Do you find you can see the black peaking out through the panel gaps?
My 318is is hellrot and I'd like to wrap it, but wouldn't want the red to be seen.

dont really notice any black peeking through, not until you open the doors, boot, etc.

red might be more noticable, being a brighter colour, pick a wrap colour that works with it and it probably wont be as bad
