  • A Final Goodbye

Finally letting go of my hatch and moving more towards a "sortaflush" look on my '99 EM1 build so I figured I'd take the hatch to one last meet prior to parting it out and show my love (which still exists) for stance.

Ending fitment specs of the car prior to parting out.

    '-98 Civic DX hatchback
-Strut towers notched for control arm clearance
-Frame notched for tie rods and axles (they did it with friction, no cutting needed.)
-Pulled front fenders, rolled rears w/ minor pull

    -JNC 003 15x9 0 offset wheels
    -Federal 595 195/45/15 tires
-GodSnow (??? I know) adjustable rear camber links (maxed out)
-Function Form Type 1 'one-piece' coilovers (maxed with lower most lock ring removed in the front, rears had 1/8" of thread left)
(If you want to replicate this, swap the front and rear springs! The rears are over 1/2" shorter, so you can keep the preload stiffer on the front, preventing upper control arm bang. I was too lazy to do this as I knew the end was nearing.)

Some pictures of the ride out there, it was pouring rain for a bit of the ride, which made for my rear end kicking out a bunch of times.

Shortly after this was taken, a cop blew past us and cut the camera car off, pulling them over for being "asinine" for hopping out and taking pictures in traffic, lol.

And then we actually got to the meet..

Didn't even realize the perfect reflection of our cars.

He meant it like "giving," givin' as in he is giving no fucks. I know, I made fun of him for it, but then it was justified.
