Abt a4 fittment

Help me please I have a set of ABTs with an offset of et25 at least that what they say. However when I test fit them to my b5 s4 they rub against the claliper (hp2 which are big calipers anyway). My question is that could the offset be different than what the rim says? I measured the rims and the offset says et25? Any help would be appreciated

What is the measured width inside lip to inside lip and the back spacing?

I thought you measured the whole rim width outside lip to outside lip. I followed this:

There are a few ways to do it.

is there a way that you recommend?? I just want to make sure what my offset is because this doesn't make sense, I have et25 and I don't clear the hp2 calipers the spoke pattern on the back is pretty much the same.

If you dont have tires mounted on the wheels measure inside lip to inside lip as in where the tire bead sits. That way if the offset has been changed, you can see if the width has been changed. Are these 3 piece Abt A4 or A9 wheels?

I believe they are a4's since the pattern is 5x112, yes they are three piece rims

What are the measurements? On the back of the wheels does it say 17x8 et25?

Yes but on two of them there are two marks crossing it out. That's where I am confused what way do you figure out offset I'll remeasure

Where the tire bead sits on each edge and from the back pad to the far outside edge of the back of the wheel.

Ok so I measured them in between the lips where the tire would sit is 180mm. Then on the back of the hub to the outside of the rim is 127mm. So would my offset be 37mm? I am confused lol how in the did I get et25? Apparently the numbers on the inside don't mean anything I looked on one and it says et38 som to recap I have one et25 one et38 and two have the et crossed out on them but they are the same so what does that number mean

Well check and make sure all the wheels have the same measurements. But what you are telling me so u do like you have a 7" wide wheel with an offset of 25. How about some pics of the wheels and the measurements.

Measurements and information on rims are as follows:

1.) front rim 8" wide rim info. 8JX17H2E25 lip to lip measurement 180mm back pad to end of rim 128mm
2.) front rim 8" wide rim info. 8JX17H2E// lip to lip measurement 180mm back pad to end of rim 128mm
3.) rear rim 8.5" wide rim info. 8JX17H2E// lip to lip measurement 190mm back pad to end of rim 140mm
4.) rear rim 8.5" wide rim info. 8JX17H2E38 lip to lip measurement 190mm back pad to end of rim 140mm
