Hi guys, i need some help and your opinion on the wheels specs im looking to get out of my custom built !!!
Since my first M3, i have always run 19'' wheels so going with 18's is new to me !!!
I know that OEM specs on 18's are:
18x8 +47 with 225-40-18
18x9.5 +27 with 255-35-18
Specs i will get out of the built:
18x10 +19
18x11 +23
Wheels are going to be BBS RS 17" to 18" custom built !!!
Here's a few concerns i have:
1- Will i need to grind the OEM calipers to make them fit since centers are going to be 17'' ? (i have put 16' to 17'' RS on a 8th gen civic and we had to grind a little in the front only)
2- Will the +19 offset in the front make the wheels "poke" a lot or it should be pretty flush?
3- Would 225-40 % 265-35 tires a good stretch and choice?
I know theres not 10 000 people with RS on their M3's but it would be great to discuss with people that had a set-up like this or close to this !!!
