BBS RM value?

I know that bbs rs wheels are worth a lot of money if they're im good shape but what about the rm's? I'm on the hunt for wheels to put on my e30 and someone offered me a set of 15x7 bbs rm in good original condition, with nankang tires in great shape and with new center caps. The owner says he wants 1000$ nego. So i guess we could settle on about 900$. Is it worth it? Or I should wait and find something better for my car? I'd say 800-1000 with tires in good shape is right around where I'd wanna be.

Also mist all RMs were the RM002's from mk2 16V cars and they are 15x6.5 et33 and not 15x7 unless he added wider lips. Hard to see in those pics.

I sold a set for $800 about two years ago. They were in rough shape though

Thanks guys! I'll try to talk a bit more to the owner to know if they're from a mk2. Thing is i can't really just go take alook at the wheels because the guy lives kinda from me... ( 5-6hours)

Under the center cap it will say whether they are RM001 or 002 and list the specs and you can see the lips to see if they are 1" lips instead of the little 0.5" drop lips.

Is it possible that they are 15x7 in stock form? The seller says they are all original and 15x7... And if i'm correct the rm 002 came from the mk2 gti but what about the rm 001?

RM001s are very rare. They had a machined face with black accent and black bolts. Ask for a pic under the cap. Most people just dont know how to properly measure wheel width.
