i want to buy coilovers for my e30 and i am undecided between ground control complete suspension or the kw variant 1. i am looking to go really low but i also want long lasting and good quality coilovers at the time. if anyone know about these please help me out!

Have you looked into Broadway Static? Ours will get you lower and ride better than the Ground Control or the KW

do you have to cut the strut housing with these to go super low?

Our E30 set is $1600 plus shipping. We use 5" 14k Swift front spring rates and 4" 18k Hyperco rear. All our sets are custom valved to run those aggressive rates. Yes, you need to do that on all E30 coilovers. Ours come with a complete replacement front strut housing that gets welded on to the OEM spindle

You need to do the welding. If you want to send up your front spindles, we can weld everything together for you for an additional charge though
