Hi all. Think one of my front shocks has just blown (shock moves up and down quite easily). The question is, if I replace it with another aftermarket lowering shock will it do the same very quickly? My set up on the front is JOM lowering springs, shocks, and adjustment collars. Then I've got e90 upper spring plates (-12mm) and I've taken out the JOM adjusters so the spring is sat on the normal spring perch. Hope that makes sense?! I'm running 16s with 195/45 tyres aswell just to give an idea. I only took the adjusters out about a month ago and don't know if that's what has killed it?
Will I be able to just replace the JOM shock with something a bit better or am I going to have to go down the route of chopping up the shock housing and using shorter shocks?
Any help appreciated. Joe.
