  • why is camber cool?

personally, i just dont get it. but of course thats all opinion.
i understand itll technically fit in the wheel well better (..and from the side it looks badass), but what ab the ride? and the tire wear? turning?
can someone please explain to me your view on it and/or why you ****/love camber?

the low low low yota on the front page is what im getting at. bags or not, ive seen it on coils... so please, lets chat

Personally, I think up to 5* or so looks good then it starts to get excessive/awkward.

Too much camber looks horrible IMO. The low low low yota on the homepage just doesn't do it for me, way too much. A few degrees is ok, but that just went to far.

Agreed. The yota just looks sloppy to me with all the camber. He got the lowering part done correctly, but then it seams like he just threw on the widest, biggest, lowest offset wheels he could find and ran the camber to make them fit.

Camber does cause excess tire ware on the inner tire but not as much as you would think. Your Toe settings are what kills your tires. Make sure it is at 0 and your tires will go from lasting 1 month to over a year (if they don't pop before that).

I personally am not a fan. As someone else stated, after -5*, it just looks awkward. You will get pulled over frequently since it looks like your axles may be broken. If you choose to mess around with your camber settings, try to get the fronts to match. Having -5 in the rear and 0 up front will be a huge visual difference. -5 in the rear and -3 up front will look alright

from a white guys stand point, camber is like a booty... you have the perfect amount of roundness but a huge ass booty is just over doing it. Its goes like, too much camber or not enough just looks horrible, you gotta hit that sweet spot.

It has to look "natural" when looking at the cars rear. The wheels have to build up a flowing line with the fenders. Not enough and it looks only okay, too much and it looks horrible.

I dig the "squat" look it gives, personally.

When set up properly with front camber on a FWD, the handling improvement is just amazing as well. One of my favorite handling mods.

i'm white, and i love a big ass

i love how camber looks in moderation. i think what takes it to the "too much" level really depends on the car. and as stated it does have handling advantages, especially for auto-x.

front camber helps handling. excessive rear doesnt.
