  • Dropping a V70 t5 more than just KWs or springs

    Hi Guys,

    I have a 2002 V70 t5 (ex-police).

I'm a newbie to the V70, but not the car scene. I know how people come onto forums like this and ask a really obvious quesion that has been answered before on the previous thread, but I can't find the exact answer (and don't full expect to just yet) I have done weeks of googling to trying to find the best kit to lower my T5, mainly finding KW as the result, but I'm (call me fickle) really looking to lower it right to the ground (don't worry, I have a master plan). I'm looking to lower it 60-100mm and make the ride boneshakingly tough. I have a relatively decent budget, so will consider custom making rear springs with any suggested shocks that you guys could put forward, but all I can find is improved ride height for daily drivers on previous threads and not the full wack.

I'm now beginning to assume that I'll need to make a custom kit, but also don't know the ratings for the rear springs. I think to get a drop of 80mm I'll need to get some custom made with a rating of at least 30% greater to standard, but don't know what the standard rate is. Any one know?

    Has anyone got any suggestions?

    Any welcome!

    Thanks
