Whats up guys, recently got into an accident with my 98 M3. Was thinking about rebuilding it but Id rather part it out. (quarter panel damage)
Whole car will be posted soon but for now i need to get rid of the motor set so i can get another daily.
Its an S52 just crossed 145K most reliable car ive ever owned, lots of maintenance. Drove it 6 1/2 hours to Florida took it like a champ. New Bosch alternator, all new belts and both tensioners at 120k along with turner coolant overhaul kit including stewart water pump. NEVER OVERHEATED! needle usually stayed below half! M50 OBD1 intake manifold conversion, M5 clutch and flywheel. New NGK BKR6EQUP plugs and Bosch wires and valve cover gasket done at 142xxx. 2 owner M3 i know the previous owner I know how well he took care of it and I did the same. Oil changed religiously at 3K with Mobil 1 0W-40 throughout its life. Transmission is good no grinds or pop outs was refreshed with Red-line MTF at 142xxx and Z3 short shifter.
Anybody who is interested can hear the motor run before its pulled.
The motor will come with Engine harness and ECU
Compression numbers along with pics will be posted soon.
Price is set at $3,000 OBO! or trade for a good daily E36s, E30s, 240's, Honda 5spd preferred.
