Just like the title states, I have a set of lightly used D2 coilovers for sale with about 10,000 miles on them. The reason for sale is because I had purchased my last e30 with these coilovers already installed and I chose to switch it up a couple months after the purchase. I ended up getting a set of Broadway Static coilovers and I simply have the D2's lying in a box.
If you guys have ever done coilovers for your e30 then you know that they're not bolt-on. Cutting and welding of the spindles is necessary to get your coilovers installed. When my buddy and I took out the D2's we kept the spindles and re-attached them to my new set of coilovers so these coilovers DO NOT come with spindles.
I simply have the coilovers, camber plates, and rear springs/adjustable spring seats.
Some more info on them if you're not familiar:
"The setup has seperate height and preload adjustments allowing for optimal adjustment and allowing full strut travel at all times along with pillowball upper mounts or top mounts*. Mounts are constructed of 6061 powder coated aluminum. Threads are teflon coated to prevent rust.36-way adjustable dampening * Made from high quality 6061 Aluminum with T6 for increased hardness * Compression/Rebound adjustable * Adjustable spring perch for height adjustment * Adjustable body allowing maximum suspension travel"
These coilovers typically go for somewhere between $900-$1200 on average. I'm willing to let them go for $600obo. I'm currently looking for a 325is front lip so I'm willing to take that for partial trade + cash on top if you have one. I'll clean them up and get some pictures up as soon as I can. This is a good opportunity to get a solid set of coilovers for an average price.
You guys can pm me here or text me at 862-two51-two996. I would prefer local deals. I'm located in Washington, DC but will be willing to workout deals in the local DC/Virginia/Maryland area. I also frequent the tri-state NJ/NY/PA as I'm originally from New Jersey, so I'm willing to work out a deal in the tri-state.
I WILL BE IN THE TRI-STATE THIS WEEKEND (11/9-11/11) so if anyone from the tri-state wants to meet up for these then let me know. Thanks.
