  • E46... 18x9.5 ET42... What is required to make this work

    Car is a 330Ci, not an M3.

What do I need to do to fit these wheels without rubbing on the strut body and/or fender. Not totally opposed to rolling the fenders, but would like to avoid it if at all possible to avoid potential paint damage.

    18x9.5 ET42 square setup.

    Thanks in advance, gentlemen.

20mm spacers front and 30mm rear and it should sit pretty damn good.
Will need to roll those suckers for sure haha.
    I dislike Byron.

That's what I was worried about. The width is there, but the offset is so damn high.

Apparently, this is how they work on the front of a 330ci like mine, no spacer and suspension not fully compressed. Pic is from seller.

Looks like the steering wheel is turednrd in that pic.
Yeah under load and on coilovers they'll camber in quite a bit.

I passed. I wasn't that in love with them to put the effort in to making them work. I figure I've got until spring to make a decent selection. Almost time for snow tires now.

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Instead of making a new post I thought I'd ask here, would 18x9.5 et40 with 225/40 work for fronts of a sedan? I'm on Tein S-Tech springs that gives me 1.6" of a drop up front. Thanks in advance!
