Sorry I'm new to BBS wheels so tell me if Im off but, I'm looking for 17"+20ish offset wheels for my 87 535is

I have got a complete 1985 E28 535i auto trans car that I got as a parts car but have not taken any parts off of.

I need a set of 4 BBS RS or Style 5 17" wheels in useable shape ( i dont mind having to polish but dont want to have to repair or replace any major parts). Preffered a +20 offset but let me know what you got.

I am looking for a straight swap.

The car is a red on tan leather car, auto trans and is complete along with a clear texas title. as soon as I can get some pics I will put them up. Be aware that this is a parts car, however it is complete and is together. I have not started or driven this car yet...I just got it last week.... but I understand from the PO that is runs and drives.

i know, im just screwin with ya...... I cant decide between the smooth lip of the Style 5s or the stepped lip of the RSs so I figured the first set to tickle my fancy and id know which one to run with

I don't wanna cock block anyone tryin to get a car for a set of style 5's, but you're talkin a significant price difference between the 2 sets, and 2 vs. 3 piece wheels.

easy choice, trade somethin I have no use or room for, for something I can use and enjoy. Besides you have no idea how much money I have in the car. this is easier for me than trying to come up with the cash

I think Sean was looking out in your interest, no need to take it offensively. The man has a point when the first picture you posted (the RS) can probably fetch at least $1800, while the second set will probably cost you around $800, and as little as $4-500 from somebody who doesn't quite know about the hype.

It's like saying I'd trade you a car for your Rotas or your HRE's, which one would you give up?
