Question about average shipping charges for wheels?

I'm buying a set of 18x8 wheels and I'm wondering what can I expect shipping charges (UPS) to be around? I live in Virginia and the wheels are in Ohio. Thanks!

I've heard it'll be around $200, but haven't ever dealt with it personally

It won't be that bad. Figure on your boxes being about 20x20x10 or so. The weight of the wheels is important, too. I shipped a set of five 17x8 ET20 BMW style 5s from Phoenix to Richmond, VA using my FedEx Ground account and paid $122.00. A staggered set of four BMW style 32s (18x8 and 18x9) cost me about the same to come from the bay area to Phoenix. They're going to Denver on Monday because I'm fickle.

I'd figure about $150 paying retail rates, though they don't have a long way to go.

fedex is cheaper IMO. plus you can get a fedex shipping account (pretty sure its free) and get 10 or 15% off.

just figure out the weight and get estimates from the website.
