For sale is my 1962 VW bug. I built it to be a hoodride so it is not a restored bug. As of right now the bug is not running, all it needs is a tune up (points need to be done, valves adjusted and maybe a carb clean) and the bug will be running fine. There is quite a bit of rust on the car, it wouldnt be a hoodride without rust! there are holes in the floors but it holds up fine. The bug was also converted to 12volt. its a great car for anyone to cruise and definately picks up all the attention wherever you might be.
engine- stock 1600 single carb
rims- stock smoothies (with hub caps)
6" narrowed (adjustable) beam
Trimill dual exhaust
head light buckets cut out
drop spindles
rear drop extension plates (I am only dropped 1 spline)
all tires have 95% tread
fronts are 135s rears are 145s
brand new window rubbers (not on the car)
brand new steering column
brake lines were changed recently
brand new battery
scat shifter
bamboo tray
no radio
rear bumper
slightly damaged front clip
chrome trim all smooth undented
holes in the pans
I am missing my headlights as of right now becasue someone had stole them. If you have any questions go ahead and ask I will be happy to answer them.
