I've decided to sell my beloved e30. Life just has me needing money for other things and a project car just isn't in the cards right now. The car is located in Orange County. It's registered in New Mexico as I moved from there and have been to lazy/poor to reregister it. The car still has all of it's smog equipment so registering it won't be an issue.
The car has had an engine/driveline swap so you get the awesome of the 325is with the insurance of a base model 325.
Here are the specs:
183000 miles
1987 BMW 325
m20b25 swap from a 1989 325is
getrag 260 five speed
3.73 medium case limited slip differential
Suspension Techniques 60mm drop springs
Bilstein Sport shocks
Dinan performance chip in a 173 ecu
Z3 short shifter
tan 325is sport seats
tan houndstooth interior
mtech 1 steering wheel
french headlights
power windows
manual sunroof
power steering
power locks
The good:
This is a New Mexico car so there is zero rust
the body is straight no dings or dents
the engine is in great condition, no leaks, ticks, weird noises, etc.
transmission shifts super smooth no leaks, etc
LSD is also in great shape, good lock up, no whining, etc
The air conditioning was converted to r134 and blows cold
Basically the car is in great shape, drives great, handles great, everything on the car works.
The bad:
When I got the car the paint was thrashed, the clear coat was toast so I spray bombed the car. So basically.... it needs paint.
The tires need to be rebalanced as well.
Like most cars of this age the dash has a couple cracks. The driver's seat is starting to show some wear. However it's still nice and soft and the bolsters are keeping their shape quite nicely.
I'm asking $2500 OBO
Contact me either through here or call/text me at 505 239 1196
Again I'm asking $2500 OBO.
