Might get these for the M3. If they fit over the brakes. It will be close.

How would these be repaired? Approximate cost of repair? I am handy with some JB weld :D :rolleyes

Just want to make sure the cost of fixing them doesn't outweigh the purchase price.

Thanks!

You'll have to have them TIG welded.

OK cool. How much are they worth in their current condition? They have all the bolts. They do need to be re-polished, and needs new center caps.

Thanks!

I mean they are in decent shape but not very desirable size wise. I wouldn't say they're worth all that much.

2 cracks in 1 wheel or 2 cracked wheels?

I would say they aren't worth more than a few hundred dollars

2 different cracks in 2 wheels.

I can get em for $160.

That's definitely worth it for the centers... but that's about all they have going for them. Lame lips and cracked barrels don't make for desirable RSs.

I'd go for it. $160 for BBS !

I would actually recommend tracking down some new barrels instead of tig welding anything. Stronger, and even though it would take some work (unbolting, ripping apart the wheel, rebolting) it might make sense for a way to completely update the look of the wheel.

Rs parts are really easy to find as well, so it's worth it.

Id do it. Ive been thinking about RSs like those for my car redrilled. If you pass, hook me up.

Really doubt they'll clear M3 brakes.

Well, the guy sold the center caps...

I could get them for $80. Seriously.

I'm going to get them. If they don't fit, I'll re-finish them and flip them for a few bucks.

wow that's quite the crack

Make sure the place you take them to will drill that crack before they weld it shut. That's an aluminum shell and should be treated like an aircraft fuselage.

If they dont clear let me know. i have tig welding hookups. My parts stash is at an airplane hangar and the guy certainly could treat it like an airplane fuselage.

whatever happened with these?

Logan

I bought them.

I am going to test fit them on my m3 tomorrow. If they do not fit, I will try and flip em for a few bucks, or put them on the edurtyy

These are not 5x120! Gr!

I think they are 5x114.3

They are for sale, and pm me offers if interested. They are et10'ish. There was a weird hubcentric spacer on the back of them.

Would they have cleared the brakes if the bolt pattern was correct?

Logan

They barely cleared the brakes. Less than a 1/4" of caliper clearance. Very close. But they cleared.
