    Hey all,

    My name is Rob Mains and I am currently the Customer Engagement Manager at Vroom.com. We are an automotive startup building a totally online experience for consumers to purchase vehicles. We have deep routes in the pre-owned dealership world and have combined that experience with a tech-startup team. Our business is growing in a major way and we are in need of some great talent with a passion for cars.

    Customer Specialist

    We are seeking a car enthusiast with customer service, hospitality and/or sales experience that will work closely with Senior Management. We need someone who knows and loves cars and can speak with authority and passion to customers about general vehicle knowledge. This person should be as comfortable chatting as he/she talking through the automotive sales and finance process.

    Vroom is changing the way people search, finance, and buy used vehicles leveraging technology to create a truly 100% online experience. We are looking for talented individuals with a passion for creating an exceptional experience and help transform an industry.

    Responsibilities
    - Provide incredible customer service experience for our customers over phone, email and live chat
    - Actively engage all customers and generate genuine interest in buying our cars
    - Manage customer relationships efficiently and effectively
    - Pursue and identify high-potential customers and move them forward to sales team leaders

    Qualifications
    - Expert in customer service, brand ambassadorship, hospitality and/or sales - preferably previous experience in a consumer facing role
    - A problem solver who is unfazed by customer personalities and will go to lengths to ensure every customer has an incredible experience
    - Ability to adapt communication style to different customers
    - Must be a strong team player
    - Can effectively prioritize and manage multiple workflows
    - Extremely detail oriented and have a strong sense of urgency in every task
    - Passionate about cars

    Pluses
    - Car buying/financing experience not necessary but a plus
    - Startup experience
    - Base CRM experience
