Ok, well my big promotion came, and i'll soon have enough money to finally sell the old Slowbalt and get then i'll be on the hunt for my next car. I know I change my mind more than a dieing old man a street corner in the red district, but i'm finally made up my mind. Also, I kinda threw the RX-8 idea out the window when I determined that a. I really want another drop top and b. there was already a nordic green metallic/black wheels/polished lip on hellaflush.......so meh.

Ugly ass mint green in color, black leather interior, drop top, FWD, everyone hates them.......

The basics for the build.......

-18"x8.5"F/18"x9"R BBS RS's (custom powder pink face/high polish lip)
-Lots 'o stretch, fender rolling and spacers if neccesary (i'll need SW's help)
-JIC-Magic FLT-TAR coilovers (w/ adj pillow ball mounts/camber plates)
-Shine Street front lip
-AEM CAI
-CMF version 2 headers
-Greddy Ti-C cat-back
-Wingless trunk lid
-Proper+ JDM bubble shift knob (pink)

Then maybe a sway bar, some up-sized rotors, new pads, blah blah blah......

Let the guessing (and ******) begin. Also, to avoid cheating, don't google CMF headers and Shine Street front lip, b/c they'll make it a dead giveaway.......

Hence why I want to do one up.

For one, they're wildly unpopular.....which I love. I know for fact no one will ever replicate the look i'm going for, and even though they were technically never offered in Japan, i'm still gonna style it with a JDM twist......and yes, it will be the only one of it's kind to be rocking BBS RS's. A mint green vert on powder pink RS's, slammed on coilvers w/ a front lip nearly on the ground and wingless trunk.......dude......that shit is gonna look fresh to death.....trust me on this one :D

My friend has a 3rd gen eclipse. V6 GT with an HKS reflash, HKS exhaust and a cup kit that gives it a decent drop along with a Wings West Lip kit that I honestly really like. I'm currently trying to get him to stance it but since he just got married and the wife is complaining about how low she has to sit to get in it now...it's gonna be tough.

Thats def clean, but not even close to the look i'm going for. The Shine Street front lip I want will sit much lower, i'll be on JIC's which have adj. camber plates, so it'll be very very slammed, and of course flush RS's with a nice stretch :D

Plus mint green + powder pink wheels + Proper+ pink bubbles shift knob......so much win.

lol, not the full kit. I don't like the sideskirts, rear valance, the fugly rear wing and I especially **** the flares. I just want the front lip b/c of how aggressive (low) it is. And i'll be removing the stock wing/getting the holes filled, so no worries.

Car will be on the lowest possible setting via the coilovers. I'm not a fan of air. I mean christ almighty, the fenders/quarters will basically be resting on the tires. I just want the front to sit on the ground basically. The sides/rear will be plenty low, and b/c the Greddy Ti-C cat-back uses a canister style muffler, that will be damn near on the ground too.

S2K's are ungodly played out, and as much as I like the older DSM's......i'm just not interested in obtaining one. If I built a DSM, it would be strictly for drag, and would not be stanced whatsoever.

lol sorry. I meant no ****. I like S2000's alot actually.......i've driven quite a few of them, and they're def fun cars. But heres why I wouldn't want one:

-Anything and everything has already been done with them.
-Theres a modded example on every street corner here in Northern VA.
-hellaflush feature + S2000......already been done plenty of times.
-2 seater..........been there.....done that.....not interested in owning another at the moment.
-no torque :stickoutt

I've got a buddy with a V6 Manual Spyder here in VT. It has paint (black) that has been overly buffed (buffed through), which is perfect for a respray. Recent new clutch. White leather interior.

Thanks, but no thanks man. I'm very particular when it comes to color. I want that minty green color they offered them in, and I don't want to have to repaint it when I get it. Also, I want the black leather interior.

I'm not usually one to ****, especially on this site, but a V6 Eclipse? Fuck me in the ass those cars suck. My dad had one when I was in high school and the thing literally started falling apart at 40k miles. Like trim falling off, interior bits cracking, clunking suspension...I could go on. PLEASE don't do it. There are so many other sweet cars out there for the same money that aren't hugely popular, just find one.

I like my color choices thank you very much. I just like doing colors no one else in their right mind would do.

I appreciate all the opinions everyone, but I have a very big imagination, and I just don't think everyone is getting the visual that i'm getting in my head.

I mean yeah, if I had the money......sure....i'd get like a 350Z, put the Do-Luck Aero Wivern kit on it, pant the entire car flat black, throw on some aggressive fitment TE-37 time attacks in black/red lip, put red Status buckets w/ cf shells in it, a full Cusco cage, Endless brakes, Zeal coilovers, Personal steering wheel, etc etc.........but I don't.

Its not that I don't have the creativity. Trust me......I do. Anyone who knows me knows that I talk about a different plan for a differnet car every day. Just because you disagree with my car plans doesn't make it "not creative" or bad. Its all just a matter of opinion.

Its all about the car. If this were a golf, it'd probably turn out pretty slick. If it were an e36, it could still come out pretty decent...

but a 3rd gen eclipse won't. Its gonna look like you had far more money than taste.

This already seems true... Cobalt, SRT4, RX8, Eclipse.

I was most excited to see the RX8 come together which is a sad statement in itself
