how the heck do you guys get over speed bumps without scrapping the under panels so much? i was wondering about putting a skid plate to protect the under panels but kinda pointless i wanna go as low as possible but wanna know how to? I know its a stupid question but this is the first time i've gone too low

You wont scape your oil pan. Its pretty protected up there (for the e36 3-series it is at least). As for the tranny cooler, just do a 5speed swap Get a x-brace, that will protect most things under there.
