No, but I need to start. I'm mad pudgy nowadays. Thats what happen when you drink too much, eat poorly because its all I can afford, and I have a desk job. But my supervisor is working me into a promotion soon, so maybe i'll be able to afford real food. :D

Also, they built a 24 hour gym like 1 min from where I live, so i'm gonna try and join that soon.

That is a lot of stuff that really is not all that great.

I used to work out 5 or 6 times a week and then slacked off. I am back in the gym now again 5 or 6 times a week.

Change your diet, get what the body needs to grow muscle and stay healthy. Skip all the 'get swoll on ripped fuel' stuff. My 'routine'? Big glass of milk with breakfast. Lunch I grab something with some good protein and a big glass of V8 Infusion. Dinner, good protein and some carbs. Digest and hit gym ~10 or 11 at night.

You can bulk up doing this kind of 'routine' and bulk up. No you won't get swoll and build up as fast but it will be more permanent. If you jack up on creatine, whey protein and go to the gym. It will grow and will be pretty noticeable pretty quick. However if you stop, it is going to drop off FAST.

I need to hit the gym again, but never do. It's so damn far away from my house so I'll just wait until going back to school. There's a weight room in the apartment complex that nobody else uses.

As for supplements I've used NOexplode and this other stuff that's a creatine substitute. Can't remember what it's called but the pills are blue and smell like rotten eggs.

Lol, here is a shot I took about a year ago. At the time I rounded up all the supplements I had tried since working at GNC. I think that list has to be at least doubled by now. Most of them were samples or whatever, I rarely take a supp for an extended period, except for protein. I always have protein.

plethora of vitamins, fish oil, whey protein in the morning and muscle milk after lifting (caseins woo), glutamine, creatine

after going without both glutamine and creatine for a week, going on glutamine for a week, and then going on both the following week, the glutamine basically does nothing for me, but i still mix it daily

Yeah I just started a MMA fight academy, love it learning a great fighting style as well as some good cross-training. I was told to get some supplements I have a list I post it up and see what you guys think.

MSM and fish oil are both good for your joints. MSM will give you a more noticeable benefit, unless you take a large dose of fish oil.

Never tried ZMA. I don't really buy into that. It's just minerals. Not to say it doesn't work, I just haven't ever tried, and the hype behind it definitely died off.

Yea my joints are REALLY bad, so I went straight to MSM, just wanted to hear a comparison. As for the ZMA's, I've seen good gains from it, I'm runnin a 2-3 month cycle and a 3 week down cycle.

If they are that bad, there's better things than just MSM. Try glucosamine chondroitin. Or try glucosamine chondroitin with MSM. GNC has a product called triflex. Doesn't matter to me if you buy from GNC, I just know that's what we have. If you find something comparable, go with it. That will be tons better than just MSM though. And adding fish oil wont hurt on top of the MSM or glucosamine chondroitin.

i do lots of lineman specific training, ie shuttle runs, lots of hills, up-downs, and weight sled.

lots of lifting too, but since im not gonna play next year i do more reps now than going for max weight. i can do 8 reps of 180 without struggling. i dont have a gym cept fot my house, so buying wheight is expensive :'(


as far as diet, lots of veggies, high protien low fat. almonds, grilled chicken, beef, salmon, tofu. no supplements.

but running and up downs stimulate the joints so i get no creaks or aches!

I used to take creatine and NO-Shotgun and all that in addition to creatine. Now I just get my vitamins, and occasionally take some ON whey protein.

I am about 6' 1" ~180.

I went from 170lbs to 145-150 from quitting drinkin soda and eating healthier an lift 5 times a week and take dark rage pre workout and started taking 100% whey but the taste killed me

I'm getting back into working out seriously. Trying to actually gain a little mass this time. I've always played soccer or been a distance runner. I actually got invited to go over to Europe and play with some club/travel/non-paid team in France when I was just a lad, and then had college scholarship offers for running after I quit playing soccer.

I'm taking a multi-vitamin daily, and usually make myself a smoothie in the morning for breakfast that has glutamine and protein powder. Other than that, I might take a ginseng pill, as I've pretty much cut out the cokes. Then, just trying to eat right, healthy, fresh, local if possible stuff.

i'm 6 foot, i want to get abs bad but i still have a gut from drinking and eating bad for 2 years. but i went from like 10 1/2 inch arms to 12.75 inch in a couple months and my traps are getting bigger and i started at curling 10 lb dumbells to 30lb dumbells now

im 5'10 210. hefty but strong. im no stick but im no butter ball. and most of my weight is in my legs. lots of car pushing and dead lifting. i can paralell squat 280 lbs 6 times.

Working out 4-5 days a week, only drink protein shake once a day after guy or before go to sleep. When at school also eat Protein Bars throughout the day (every hour).

yeah I lift 5 days a week...Im up 40 pounds for the year. I eat, I eat and i have a few shakes....i eat and lift then i eat more. Going for the 200 range but will take less if im still super lean.

Well I did gain around 20pounds in about 3 month, but I can only do that when I am at school everyday because I have a routine day. That way and have meal every two hours. Although I've lost about 3 pounds this summer because I go to sleep, wake up, and eat any time I feel like which doesn't makes any good.
I am 140 by the way; going for at least for 160.

This is my kind of thread. I'm a work out whore.. I'm 6' fluctuate between 195-200lbs right now I'm around 10% body fat shooting for around 6%. I don't really take any thing but protein. It all comes down to what you eat, that alone counts for like 80% of how you put on muscle and put off fat.

I really need to get back into lifting, just don't have a membership anywhere right now. Used to be in the 174 weight class for college wrestling, but that was back when in season I had a 3.6% body fat ratio. Don't ask now, prob 12% or something.

i would use some organic omega 3. the store bought regular stuff doesnt dissolve right, and makes you burp and taste the fish. its gross.

msm is great for muscle rejuvination. especially after surgeries and stuff like that


seandub, do you just stick with creatine? some creatine works well, youll get more results cycling supplements though. depends on what youre trying to do i guess.

i try to keep it simple. i cycled ten extreme from pre workout and whey for post. worked very well together. put on about 20 lb's. tren is great if you stick with it. it isnt that good if you cycle for more than a month though. focks up your liver.

i also did a half cycle of methyl 1-d which seemed to get me a nice bit of mass. but had to stop due to an injury. i want to cycle one more thing before baseball season starts. i just dont know what yet. thinkin about this new product arimatest or the new methyl product
