  • My Alignment Nub Broken on my Coilovers

Hey everyone, yes this is my very first post and unforunately my attempts to be closer to the ground have not gone well.

I was installing my coilovers today and everything went great except one thing. On the driver's side front, the little knub that helps align everything by slipping into the gap on the hub broke off. I aligned everything up based on where the nub would normally be, but I'm not sure if it's safe for me to drive on. I can't imagine that the nub would normally support any weight?

Someone please help, I feel like such an idiot

Since everyone loves pictures, here is what the coilovers are on

Just slip it in as if the nub were still there and make sure you tighten it real good. You should be fine, just like you said its only for aligning the housing into the right position.
