Im pretty sure they just have a larger lip banded/welded on. I had a set made a few months back. they turned out ok but dont know that I would have paid as much as I did for the quality.

I've heard of people getting sets for as low as $300. It really depends on what you want. Diamond Racing doesn't make wheels like these above 16" in diameter. If you want it powdercoated, polished, etc., it's going to cost you extra, but you should be able to get a nice set for around $500-$600.

I can honestly say i like the mexican look on some cars, that are done aggressively enough. I think taking these sort of cues from rods and migrating them to other cars is really interesting.

i asked diamond racing about some 18's and 17's. they would only do a 17x9.5 for 250 a piece. so theyre statement about any custom wheel is invalid apparently. if they would make it for not that much id order a set of 18x10.5's for my 350z just to hurt everyones feelings on my350z lol
