  • E30 Slave Cylinder Issue

Hey guys, I don't post much but I really needed some help.

I'm replacing the slave cylinder on my E30 but as I crawled under the car to remove the part I noticed that the hydraulic line nut is way to hard to fit a wrench into

Basically the nipple to bleed the slave cylinder is facing me (downwards). I'm guessing whoever was here last must have put it on upside down?

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see how I can fit a wrench in such a crammed space? I hope I'm making sense

Any help is greatly appreciated- Alex

Edit: the car in question is an 89 325i

That's the correct placement. Two 13mm nuts hold the slave on, remove those and the whole thing drops down allowing you to remove the line.
