Selling my 1979 Volkswagen Scirocco that was an ex-N.A.S.A competition car. I bought and restored it with the intention of attending open track days with the buddies only I really tracked it once and a few times driving around the streets. Don't have time for this thing anymore and will be moving to a small place pretty soon. I've spent a lot of money on it, my loss your gain.
Engine runs good. No it doesn't purr like a BMW but rumbles due to the lumpy cam. This thing is a race car I cant stress that enough so there is drawbacks like stiff suspension, loud engine, and it's a magnet for ricer cars following you around. It runs fine on 93 unleaded but the engine intended for a higher octane and would run at its best with 109 leaded racing fuel. I will be finishing the paperwork to register it as a street legal car(I have connections). It comes with a set of used Avon TechR slicks(225-45-15) as well as other stuff I can't remember right now.
Located in Riverside, CA. Looking to get $5,500 for it. Priced low to sell fast.
I can include a dual-axle car trailer for $500 extra.
