Aloha guys..I'd like to invite everyone to a meet we've set up along with Troy Sumitomo of 5axis, to help the fight against Juvenile diabetes. Being a diabetic myself and having gone through fighting the disease all the way to kidnet failure. I was a few of the lucky ones that is lucky enough to have a great friend to donate and save my life. I felt it's time to give back and fight this in it's early stages..so please try and make it out ..

“Revue” An Auto Enthusiast Shindig by Five Axis and Scion Evolution

ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif. (March 2010) -- Scion Evolution (SE) celebrates their
6-year anniversary with an all-car meet and greet. In conjunction with Five Axis, Scion Evolution is proud to announce “Revue – an auto enthusiast shindig.” This star-studded event will be held May 1st, 2010 at Five Axis in Huntington Beach, California from 10am to 3pm. Revue will feature vehicles of all types, including cars and bikes from AutoFashion, bB Squad, Club Lexus, Monterey Park Scooter Works, Phaze2, Real Autoworks (RAW), and Tjin Edition RoadShow.

Revue is also a chance to raise awareness for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). “Because a personal fight with diabetes and the health problems it can cause, we felt that JDRF would be the best way to fight this silent killer at its early stages, which would help all children who may be affected by it”, says Nilo J.C. Miranda, co-founder of Scion Evolution. “To help support the cause a portion of the opportunity drawing profits will be donated to JDRF.”

Attending are representatives from Air Lift Company, Alpine Electronics, AutoFashion, BOWLS, Greddy, HPI Racing, Island Motor Sports, Magic Film, Mothers, Morel America, MV Designz, Optomize Scion, RAW, Scosche, Tein, TRD, VeilSide USA, and 3D Carbon. In addition, The Kogi BBQ and The Shrimp Guys trucks will be on hand to feed hungry souls.

Five Axis and SE are no strangers as a team. Together they have organized some amazing shows, at SE’s 2-year celebration in 2006 the team had the unique opportunity to display all Five Axis Scion models in one common location, the Original DJ xB, the Speedster xA, and the Green Wide body tC. In 2007 the concept Fuse was on display at SE’s 3-year anniversary. Expect the 6-year to be no different.

With Revue behind us, we already pondered what’s next. Exhausted, delirious, and hungry, it’s not a surprise that ideas for the next event were rambled during an unhealthy slab of pastrami at Tommy Pastrami’s. Without trying to get ahead of ourselves I think a little acknowledgement is priority.

We want to thank all the partners involved in Revue. Being skeptical of what this bi-polar California weather had to offer, we could not have asked for a more perfect day – it was simply gorgeous. With that said -thank you, thank you, and thank you. Thank you AirLift for the generous certificate and t-shirts, have a safe flight back to 8-Mile aka Detroit, aka the mitten state. AutoFashion for always supporting us, they’re like your parents – even if they disagree with what you do, they are there for you in anything you do; Alpine for the portable navi system and Bluetooth kit, ARK Designs for the lugs and rev-shift timer; bB Squad for the sick rides; BOWLS LA and Monterey Park Scooter Works for the nice AE86 and the kick-ass Ruckus’. Phaze2 for bring out some nice rides – the NSX is cool; Platinum VIP with an impressive display of hotness; Real Auto Works for the full bumper xB kit and the Kaminari tC body kit, RJ DeVera showing us how a 7-series and Cayman are done, Vorsteiner and TechArt style – dayum, I am not even going to make a F&F joke here. Scosche for a BOAT load of iPod accessories, along with earphones, stickers, t’s, speakers, amp kits, and just a whole lot of goodies, who would ever thought they could cram so much stuff in 2-cars with full blown audio systems in them? One of which was a Nissan Cube, oh and they brought (2) 10x10’s and display banners! Tein for the claw goodies, TRD for the ez up –haha, oh and stuffffs, and VeilSide for that carbon seat – that would have looked so good in my xB. Marshall and Paul from SE Hawaii and the Mac Nutzz - ForjWorks! DJ Ynot aka Tony for “spinning” on the 1’s and 2,s, or just the 1’s, or the Mac. The Kogi BBQ truck for making Revue a stop-tweet tweet, and The Shrimp Guys – if you didn’t try it, you just missed out, like serious, you missed the heck out! I’m hungry.
