Hi. my name is james and i am from England.
I got the mk3 a year ago with the intention of keeping it simple. well, that never happend.

initially i had a set of 9x16 Schmidt MLs on there, et15 all round wrapped in 213-35 up front and 205-40 out back. a combination that worked well.

then i bit the bullet and ordered myself a fully custom bagyard air ride kit from austria.
and teamed that with a set of 17x8.5 Autostrada Monza wheels in 5x114.3 fitment [mk3s being 5x100] 20mm all rounf produced the goods with a final et of 23mm.

Im currently working on polibushing the entire car, removing the anti roll bad and trimming the control arms in an attempt to tuck the front. Should be fun.

big plans a foot then james. good to see some more progress with the car - heard a rumor about the bagyard kit but didn't realsie it was a done deal and fitted already - lost the link on e38 to the build a while ago now.
loving the autostrada rims - looks like big teledials to me! lol

how narrow you going on the front? like grants 'unit 21' mk2?

nah wont be narrowing unfortunately, more a case of trimming some of the proud metal and a little of the subframe where the control arms lock out.

I don't remember what thread it was but I remember thinking they were some custom Phonedials until I was told they were Autostradas :rofl

Trimming the subframe corners should bring it down a good amount more, helps a lot on MK4s :)

The roof rack is mine, and for sale if interested, it is the complete votex items with locking keys and all.

The rear lights were tinted gti items and front blinkers I'm unsure.

This amazing car is still for sale for a very reasonable price.
