  • custom wooden shift knob

I'm about to start making a wooden shift knob in auto for when i get a car or for my brothers. I forgot the two types of wood we are using but they are nice colors. It's going to be striped with the wood, it'll be nice. Ill take pictures tomorrow.

The two woods are mohogany and Maple Burl.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. My friend made himself a shift knob and it turned out pretty good, and he plans on making me one next

ahh I love working on a lathe
One of my best friends is a nationally recognized woodworker with multiple awards. He taught me how to do all sorts of things from chair legs to shift knobs to pens and such
