I know I'm not introducing anything new here, a 16x8 is the hardest size wheel to find a proper tire to stretch. I am perfectly happy staying static and I have decided that over the winter I will convert my fronts to 8.5's. Keep in mind, this is a VR6 swapped car.
I currently run a 195/40/16 Federal 595 EVO all around on my car.
The RF's are 16x8 and 16x9. The rears are fine, but I'm not happy with the fronts.
The way my car sits, I need to put alot of camber in, killing my flush setup because of my tire sizes and I still cannot turn full lock. I have been contemplating going to a smaller size tire, but from a 195/40 all I can look at is a 165/45/16.
I found this pic of a Nankang 165/45/16 on a 16x8, wich makes me feel the same tire on an 8.5" would be somewhat crazy.
Cheers, and I'd appreciate all help/questions/tips/comments etc...
Thanks,
