View Full Version : Ronal Turbo Split Lip Miracle

I have a set of Ronal RR Turbo Splits. The lips on them were small and pitted, obviously from being 20+ years old. After scouring the internet for months trying to find used or new lips from people I decided to get custom ones done.

I called Kodiak Motorsports. Filled out the spec sheet of what I need. The reply I got was odd. "Our stock lips will fit no problem". My reply... "I need two 4.5" outers and two 3.5" outers."

yeah the lips were on the car. Currently getting new barrels (inners) for the rear. I cracked one of the old ones on the trip.

It was welded previously (before I owned the wheels). Which is why it cracked I think. Better to just do it right this time.

Kodiaks are very good quality, I had them on my RS's for about two years daily driven. No bends whatsoever.

Thanks guys, new inners shipped on monday to replace the one that cracked. Should be sealing it then getting the tire re-mounted.

I'm still on the lookout for a Gen2 Ronal Turbo monoblock as a spare :shifty

The centers are face mount so the dish sort of disappears.
