  • Removeing Spray Paint From Headlights

Hey guys, just a quick tip on removing paint from headlights (I happen to buy a truck that came with over spray on all the lights, I would never be that careless).

Use a scruff pad and vegetable oil. It comes off fairly easy. It also shines the headlights up nice. I write a detailed article here, but it's straight forward enough. Just wet the scruff pad and rub away at the lights.

This is great. I ghetto-smoked my tails, but they came out a bit dark so I've been wanting to strip them and try again

Also wet-sanding with 1000, 1500, 2000 then hitting them with a buffer and wax works really good too.

I do that all the time with cloudy headlights to restore them.
