How well would a set up stock e39 style 5's fit my e46? Would a fender roll resolve any rubbing issues?

Well I'm actually not even slammed right now. I blew out my set up coilovers and then before i could buy a new set I needed a new transmission. SO i threw the stock setup on. Pretty sweet huh? So all my money is going to the auto to 5speed swap. BUt yeah if you're running e39 offsets and you're that slammed I guess it is possible. The set I'm picking up though its 45 not 45 though. But I'm gonna refinish them and paint the middle anyways so I'll probably just throw whatever tires I need on there. Thanks!
