  • Coppin' a FEELER: WTT 1980 BMW 733i

I wanted to see if there was any interest out there to trade for my car...

    Its a 1980 model 733i (built Nov. 1979)

    good things about it:
-its old, its low, its loud... its a great cruiser.
    -stock, 'cept for cut springs
-top end rebuild on the M30 3.2L not long ago... doesn't burn a DROP of oil/runs GREAT.
    -good shifting 3-Speed ZF auto
    -power windows work
    -heater/defrost and A/C work
    -cruise control works
-good driver, has taken me from Seattle to Spokane many times w/o a hitch

    probs:
-Ignition tumbler should be replaced. Even when key is turned "off", there is a slight draw. I will more than likely have this fixed soon anyhow, but I just thought I'd say.
-leaks a little P/S fluid... not terrible, but I top it off about once a month
-Interior is not amazing... seats are in fair shape save for a few tears, but the blue dye has worn off much of the leather and kinda makes the seats look like old worn leather horse saddles... I kinda dig it but idk
-exhaust leaks, could prob be patched up.
    -trunk leaks...
    -brakes squeak.
-a few spots are in primer (hood, right passenger doors). Paint was peeling b/c of being stored in direct sunlight by PO but I have a can of paint from Wesco that is the correct match for this car. Again, I will most likely have this fixed up myself pretty soon.

All in all, just wanna see if somebody wants to trade. Obviously not looking for anything perfect, and I'm not claiming my car is perfect. Just looking for another BMW...

    Thanks,

    David

pics before the springs were cut more... w/ Style 19's that are being refinished right now (can be included though)
