So just sitting at my comp, looking at my water bottle, and checking out how crazy the sweat on the bottle looked. What better chance to use my macro lens :eyebrows
Sony a100 50/2.8 macro (~1:1) :eek
ISO was set to 800 for these because I don't gots a tripods up here at school. I leave that in the car which is back at home. So forgive the graininess

let's take the last three images...
the first of the last three, im shooting not straight at the bottle, nor straight at my subject. im at f/2.8, but i wish i knew what "focal" length i was at (i hesitate to use focal because its a nifty 50 macro, but it provides a magnification scale of 1:1, so i dunno, i don't really know the answer but the dof is extremely small when it gets to the 1:1 scale and id say for the very last image, the dof is about 4mm worth of depth. if i aimed more straight at the bottle, it'd give it a less drastic dof. know what i mean? and sorry for the lack of periods used in this message lol
