im looking for a cheap set of wheel studs that i can thread into my hubs on my gti like these. where can i get some?! help!

Any good hardware store should have them. Online you can find them all over. "Thread in studs" is what I would search for. I have some on the E21 that I got from Turner Motorsports a long time ago, they had some lying around.

Any shop that sells aftermarket wheels should have these, try locally first then use online for last resort.
