  • Do macpherson cars HAVE to use air struts?

I've got an 01 L300 that I want to bag(new to air) and I just wanted to know do you have to use Air struts or can you use regular covulated bags? Oh yeah new to the site. Hello all!

Take a look at your coil springs, are they separate from the shock/strut? If they are together, u need air struts.

Thing with macpherson struts is due to them not having an upper control arm, they need the strut to keep the front suspension together. The only other option to air would be hydraulic.

Thanks guys I'm probably gonna end up bagging it. Just gotta save up. Juice(even a hydroholics set up) just takes up too much space for what I need.
