Need help with tires

I need help trying to decide what size tires to stick on these things:

Fronts are 18x7.5 stock tire size on a 135i is a 215/40-18
Rears are 18x8.5 and stock tire size is 245/35-18

the main reason i don't want to run those sizes is the price, tires are expensive! If i were to do a 215/35 up front and a 225/40 out back anyone think that would look funny?

I think the price will be close to the same. skinnier, but lower profile. Don't know though. Just do those sizes.

actually the price for the sizes i'm thinking are ALOT cheaper than the stock 135i sizes
